Greetings blogverse! It is with much anticipation that I finally venture into the realm of blogging. From movies to games, and everything in between, there is so much that I am here to discuss with all of you. A little about me; I live in L.A. while doing some commercial production work while playing on the beach and running in slow-mo as an ocean lifeguard in the summers. When I game, it is usually GTA V on the PS4 or Marvel Future Fight on the iOS. If you want to play ask below for gamer tag IDs! Anyways, I hope my rants and self-contained banter will entertain and encourage you to engage with me in my obsessions!
My personal history with all-things comics, and more specifically MARVEL, goes back to a period of baby powder and diapers. Before I knew better, I would run about my house with my tighty-whiteys on my head, leg holes representing Spider-Man's eye lenses, vanquishing whatever imaginary sinister foe that dare challenge me. I was a die-hard fan of the original 1977 The Amazing Spider-Man television series, to which I modeled my first home-made Spider-Man costume.
Doesn't this look like something I've seen recently?
I'm thinking the Russos drew heavily from this
and the classic Steve Ditko designs
for Spidey in Civil War.

And who could forget the amazing cartoons of the 90s; Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men the Animated Series, and even Iron-Man had a series last for a season. Speaking of comic productions... how fortunate are we to live in a time where Superheros have evolved past printed mediums and become prevalent in all of entertainment. I mean, seriously...
We are living in the Golden Era of comic book films!
(Hmm, technically it would be the Bronze Age, no? Comment which Age of Comics you think we're in and why!)
This notion is something that strikes me stupid, still as I cruise past giant building coverings for Marvel's newest films in Culver City. Never did I think I would see a day where my inspirations jumped off the comic page and onto the big screen to influence billions of people across the world. Look at how Captain America Civil War has broken Fandango records! I already have my tickets in hand and ready to go .. #TeamCap! I hope the film doesn't follow the comics too closely, I am not too sure if I could handle that!
I have been working on a few different projects that I intend to share but what I have almost finished and will post shortly is a fan video that I am particularly fond of. The First Thunderbolt, edited from the MCU featuring clips chronicling the rise, fall, and rebirth of James Buchanan Barnes - The Winter Soldier.
That's all for today and remember, I'm with you to the end of the line, pal.
